Newest Homebuyer Incentives

Interested in purchasing a new home in one of Cleveland's most up-and-coming neighborhoods? There are several different incentives available to prospective homebuyers in the Ward 5 area.

Pick Your Neighbor and Receive $500

Attention new homeowners in the Villages of Central!  Rysar Properties is offering $500 to any new homeowner that refers a friend or family member to purchase a home in the Villages of Central.  For more information on the Villages of Central referral program, please call Jeannette Hollowell at (216) 431-1188.

Down Payment Assistance

Receive up to $20,000 towards the purchase of a new home in the Villages of Central development.  The down payment assistance is provided in the form of a deferred, interest-free 2nd mortgage from the City of Cleveland.  Buyers may receive either $10,000 or $20,000 depending on income and family size.  For more information on the Villages of Central, please call Jeannette Hollowell at (216) 431-1188.

Tax Abatement

Anyone purchasing a new or substantially re-habbed home in the City of Cleveland may apply for Tax Abatement.  With the City of Cleveland Tax Abatement program homeowners only have to pay property taxes on the value of the land that their homes are built on, and not on the value of the house, creating substantial savings.  Tax Abatement can last from 10 to 15 years.  BBC counsels buyers on the tax abatement process and submits the applications for anyone purchasing a new home in our service area, to save the new home owners from the hassle and to assure that abatement is in place.  For more information on tax abatement, call Joy Johnson at BBC, (216) 341-1455, x22.
