Villages of Central
Come home to the Villages of Central, an exciting new housing development that brings over 300 new homes to Cleveland’s Central neighborhood. The newest of the Villages of Central is St. John's Village West, which features several different types of houses, and boasts many beautiful home designs.
Located between Cedar Avenue, Central Avenue, East 36th Street, and East 40th Street, St. John’s Village-West is the closest east-side neighborhood to downtown, and within walking distance of downtown districts such as Playhouse Square. St. John’s-West is also minutes away from Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and University Circle and other arts, cultural, medical and educational institutions. The village is named after St. John's African Methodist Episcopal Church, Greater Cleveland's oldest black church which recently celebrated its 175th anniversary and has sat at the corner of East 40th and Central Ave. for nearly a century.
With a multitude of floor plans and elevations to choose from, St. John's-West contains homes for every lifestyle. Want a new home but don’t want yard maintenance? Buy a Gateway Town Home in St. John’s-West! The Gateway Town Homes are located along E. 40th Street, which is considered the “gateway” into the neighborhood. Prices for the town homes start at $145,000.
Houses include 2-car attached garages, full basements, central air, full front porches, 1st-floor master suites in Colonial/Bungalow Units, 1.5 to 2.5 baths and much, much more! Buyers can receive up to $20,000 down-payment assistance in the form of an interest-free loan and 15-year tax abatement from the City of Cleveland. Below-market fixed interest rates are also available.
If you haven’t been in the Central neighborhood lately, we encourage you to drive through the neighborhood to see it for yourself! While you’re there, take a tour of the model home, which is open by appointment by calling Jeannette Hollowell at (216) 431-1188. Prices in St. John’s-West range from $135,900-$250,000.
