Gabriel's Green

In 2000, BBC and Lutheran Housing Corporation (now known as Community Housing Solutions), collaborated to create Gabriel's Green.

Gabriel's Green consists of a total of 50 units of low-income housing, including 36 two-bedroom rental units for seniors, a 4-unit renovated apartment building, and 10 scattered-site single-family homes. Included in the development is a community center to serve as a social, recreational, cultural, and educational hub for neighborhood residents.

The Gabriel's Green project area is bordered by Central Avenue to the north, Quincy Avenue to the South, and East 65th and 55th Streets to the east and west, respectively.
