Hill Place & Dell Avenue Homes

With Mount Sinai Church as the driver of the project, BBC and Rysar Properties have embarked on the redevelopment of the former East Woodland Estates (now called “Hill Place” in honor of a previous pastor of the church), an 80-unit apartment complex built in the 1970’s.  This development is located at the southwest corner of East 75th Street and Woodland Avenue, and will be comprised of 80 newly-renovated for-sale townhomes. In the center of the project area will be 24 single-story new-construction cluster homes similar to the design of the homes of Gabriel's Green.

The second phase of the project, Dell Avenue Homes, will bring an additional 42 single-family homes to the vacant land south of Hill Place that is currently owned by Mt. Sinai Church. The plan also calls for greenspace and multi-purpose recreation trails to be incorporated immediately south of the Dell Avenue Homes. Other common elements will also be incorporated into the newly-renovated neighborhood.

Hill Place and Dell Avenue Homes continue the trend of new development occurring within the Ward 5 Forgotten Triangle that has begun with East Central Place and the the Bridgeport Place shopping center.
