Villages of Central

Construction in the Home Ownership Zone (HOZ), also known as the Villages of Central, brings a variety of new homes to Cleveland’s Central neighborhood. A total of 458 single-family, duplex, and townhouse structures for sale along with the rehabilitation and sale of 7 homes make this project the largest market rate housing construction project in Cleveland since the 1940’s.

BFR Partners, LLC is serving as the General Contractor for this development. The Villages of Central also features homes built by Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity will build a total 25 homes in the Villages of Central.

The HOZ boundaries are East 36th Street to the west, East 71st Street to the east, Cedar Avenue to the north and Quincy/Community College Ave. to the south. When completed, the Villages of Central will include six neighborhoods - Central Village, Friendship Village, Garden Village, St. John’s Village West, St. John’s Village East, and Woodland Village. Each village will feature distinguishing amenities and attractions while maintaining a strong sense of community.
